At NoteMe, accessible from https://noteme.qrdyai.com/ and through the NoteMe apps for iOS and Android, one of our main priorities is the privacy of our users. This Privacy Policy describes the information NoteMe collects, how we use it, and the choices you have.

NoteMe is a personal memory service: you save notes and memories, and you may connect AI assistants that can read your memory or propose changes to it, which you review and approve. NoteMe is operated by QrdyAI.

Information we collect

Account information

When you sign in with Google or Apple, we receive your name, email address and (for Google) profile picture, along with a unique account identifier. We do not receive or store your Google or Apple password.

Content you save

Notes, captures, memories, areas, reminders and the questions you ask NoteMe are stored in your account so the service can work. This includes content proposed by AI assistants you connect, and your decisions to accept, edit or reject those proposals.

AI connections

When you connect an AI assistant (for example through an MCP token), we store the connection name, the access scope you granted, its expiry, and an activity log of what that assistant read or proposed.

Purchases

Paid plans are processed by Lemon Squeezy (web), the Apple App Store or Google Play (mobile), with subscription status managed through RevenueCat. We receive your subscription status and order details; we never receive or store your full card number.

Log files and usage data

Like most online services, NoteMe keeps standard log files: IP address, browser type, device type, date and time, referring and exit pages, and error reports. Our mobile apps use Firebase Analytics to understand feature usage. This data is used to operate, secure and improve the service.

How we use your information

• Provide, operate and maintain NoteMe and sync it across your devices
• Analyze your captures and propose memories, and answer your questions using only the memories you saved
• Give connected AI assistants the access you granted — nothing more
• Process payments and manage your subscription
• Send service messages such as reminders and account notices
• Improve NoteMe, and find and prevent fraud and abuse

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use the content of your notes or memories for advertising.

AI processing

To analyze captures and answer questions, relevant parts of your content are sent to our AI model provider (OpenAI) through its API. Under the provider's API terms, this data is not used to train their models. We do not use your content to train AI models.

Google user data

NoteMe uses Google Sign-In (OAuth 2.0) only to authenticate you. We request the profile and email scopes and access only your name, email address and profile picture. We do not access Gmail, Google Drive, Google Calendar, Contacts or any other Google data.

• Google user data is used solely to create and identify your NoteMe account.
• We do not sell, rent or trade Google user data, and do not use it for advertising.
• We share it only with infrastructure providers (Google Firebase and our cloud hosting) strictly to run the service, or when required by law.
• NoteMe's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Service providers

We rely on trusted providers to run NoteMe: Google Firebase (authentication, analytics), cloud hosting providers, OpenAI (AI processing), Lemon Squeezy, Apple, Google Play and RevenueCat (payments). Each processes data only as needed to provide its service and under its own privacy policy.

Data security and retention

All data is transmitted over HTTPS. Access tokens are stored securely, AI connection tokens are scoped and revocable, and access to production databases is restricted to authorized personnel. We keep your data for as long as your account is active. When you delete your account or ask us to, we delete your account data within 30 days, except where we must keep limited records by law.

Your rights (GDPR & CCPA)

Depending on where you live, you have the right to:

• Access and receive a copy of your personal data
• Correct inaccurate or incomplete data
• Delete your data
• Restrict or object to certain processing
• Data portability
• Know that we do not sell your personal information

Children's information

NoteMe is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe your child has provided such information, contact us and we will promptly delete it.

Changes to this Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the new version on this page and update the date above. Changes are effective when posted.
